Below is a list of helplines, websites and other resources which could be useful for those struggling with mental health problems.

Websites

MIND – This mental health charity offers both information about different types of mental illnesses including treatment options. They also run campaigns to raise money to better mental health services in the UK.

CALM – The Campaign Against Living Miserably is an organisation focusing on male mental health which also has a helpline that I will post below.

AnxietyUK – This website primarily focuses on anxiety conditions with information and support.

Samaritans – This confidential charity offers support and guidance for those feeling low.

Apps

HappyNotPerfect – I really enjoy this app as it helps with meditation, stress relief and you can create a ‘grateful diary’ to look back on when you are feeling low.

Helplines

CALM – 0800 58 58 58 (Open 5pm until midnight, 365 days a week) This is a helpline for men suffering with mental health problems.

AnxietyUK – 07537 416 905 is a text service run by AnxietyUK which is useful for those who struggle to speak over the phone. They also offer a call service at 03444 775 774 (Mon-Fri, 9.30am-5.30pm)

Samaritans – They offer a free 24 hours helpline at 116 123
